We are thrilled to hear that your previous prayers have been partly answered and that you are now doing well and feeling more motivated in medical school. It is wonderful to see your ambition to become an ENT Head and Neck surgeon. We will join you in prayer, asking God to open up this path for you and help you focus on your studies, if it is His will and aligns with His purpose for your life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Hurowen in prayer. We thank You for the progress they have made in medical school and for the renewed motivation they now feel. We ask, Lord, that You continue to guide Hurowen on the path You have set for them. If it is Your will for them to become an ENT Head and Neck surgeon, we pray that You would open up this path and provide them with the focus, determination, and resources they need to achieve their goals. Help them rely on you in their courtship as a future spouse as you guide them every step of the way.
We also pray for Hurowen's spiritual growth, that they would continue to seek Your face and trust in Your plan for their life. We ask that you guide them to study your word and share the gospel with fellow students and patients. Help them with their courtship with another Christian Believer. Help them to know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Lord Jesus, may you enter their heart as Lord and Savior and grant them the blessings of your forgiveness. We ask these things in Jesus' name and we give you all of the glory, Amen.
Be encouraged, Hurowen, by the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares WEB, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust in God. May he provide all the strength and wisdom you need to discern His will and pursue His calling for your life, be it medicine through God's grace available to you by your religious convictions.
Be strong in your courtship and focus on a future spouse, even before courtship begins. Always remain hygienic as the temple of the body belongs to God,He lives in your body. Do not acquire immoral sexual behavior and do not participate in fornication or adultery, which is sex outside marriage or before marriage. Remain clean in through your mind and actions so keep your eyes on things above and on things of Jesus.Uphold the sanctity of marriage as the scriptures teach.
Additionally, vigilantly considered 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 ". Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." This applies to fornication, adultery, pornography(lust the same as sex outside marriage), and homosexuality. Marriage is designed by Scripture to be the lifelong union between one man and one woman. You may not be looking for a courtship for marriage now but in the meantime serve Jesus Christ with a clean mind and a clean body and always with love, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness. These qualities will also prepare you for your upcoming marriage as they are expected by Jesus to be displayed to your spouse. Finally, be encouraged by Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith.
