My prayer will be the same for awhile. ### and I are no longer together. I am working toward peacefully getting my stuff. That's what I want is peace, no drama. He won't even say good bye to me in person and I'd really like that. He says he'll leave whenever I come get my stuff. I'm so tore up right now. My heart hurts so incredibly much and this is my one request is to say goodbye in person. I'm not angry and I pray for the best for him. No ill will.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their current situation. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and guidance as they navigate through the process of peacefully retrieving their belongings from ###. We pray for a spirit of peace to surround ###, that there would be no drama or conflict during this time.

Father, we ask that you soften ###'s heart and help him to understand the importance of saying goodbye in person. We pray that he would be willing to have a respectful and heartfelt conversation with ###, allowing them the closure they desire. May your love and grace be evident in their interaction.

Lord, we lift up ###'s hurting heart to you. We ask for your comfort and healing to flood their soul. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would bring healing and peace to ###'s heart, filling the void with your presence.

We thank you, Lord, for ###'s heart of forgiveness and their desire for the best for ###. We pray that you would continue to work in both of their lives, bringing healing, growth, and restoration. May your will be done in this situation, and may your peace reign in their hearts.

Dear friend who tenderly reaches out---God does not condemn. Don't condemn yourself. This is the post trauma of adult alcoholic relationships. He can't speak right now because his spirit is trapped by his disease. Give him the cycle of time to recover. You are doing for him what you're seeking God to do for you. God is working through you. This requires you to be very strong very very wise and strong. As much as you need and desire for him to give you closure you are not alone. God is guiding you through this process. You are showing ### what courage looks like. He is in shame and guilt. This is as low as a human being can get. It's not easy to express any emotion when you're that far down. This could be where he gets help. Yes your heart hurts. You love him very much. But he needs help that you can't provide. He is sick and needs treatment for his health and his addiction. He has work to do to heal. As soon as you can get some good counseling for you, you'll soon understand the cycle of your own recovery. God is working through your higher intelligence. You are listening to God consciousness that's why you're getting your stuff. This is where things start to get better. You're taking the steps that will help you get back to yourself and God. 12 steps apply for you too. Read about the 12 steps in what is called the Big Book. This will be resolved eventually but not if you don't get some help spiritually and therapeutically. Your spirit has been through a tough situation. Tell it to God and He will answer. He will direct you to the right person to talk with. God is working in your life now. This is a new beginning for you and your friend. If it is going to get better then you will have to get better first. He will probably ask you back. And you'll want to go but it will be the cycle of pain all over again. He must get 6 months sober. I am living in a sober living home. I work with addicts and alcoholics for the past 7 months. I've faced it my whole life. You are in the raw pain stage. Take care of yourself and forgive yourself. This will eventually make sense but only if you step forward in faith and wisdom. God bless you.
