MY PRAYER WARRIORS. I FEEL SO FAT. I PRAY TO MY LORD to help me lose my weight. I need a high miracle. Help me please!!!!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Norma Jean Vargas. Lord, she is feeling overwhelmed and burdened by her weight and is seeking Your divine intervention. We ask that You grant her the strength, discipline, and guidance she needs to achieve her health goals.

Your Word says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We pray that Norma Jean feels Your strength and encouragement as she embarks on this journey. Help her to make healthy choices and to find joy and peace in the process.

Lord, we know that You care for us deeply and that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for a high miracle, as Norma Jean has requested, and trust that You will provide her with the support and resources she needs.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I love this example of answered prayer. I have, on occasion, followed the exact format of the Lord's Prayer, but I personalize it, sometimes nothing more than a simple paraphrase in my own words. I have found comfort in praying like this, too. Another verse that you may like is in Ecclesiasticus. I will paste it below. I love this verse because it is affirmation of God's power, and an example of His works, just like the prayer of Jabez.

Ecclesiasticus 11:21

“Marvel not at the works of sinners; but trust in the Lord, and abide in thy labour: for it is an easy thing in the sight of the Lord on the sudden to make a poor man rich.”

I have accidentally used the KJV when sharing this verse in the past. In the case of this particular verse, it is actually the NABRE that I find so impactful and poetic. It has that literary sticking power.

Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always respect, obey and honor You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
