We join with you, Powers, in lifting up your family before the throne of grace. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 17:15, where He prayed for His disciples, saying:
I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.
Let's pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask that You stretch forth Your almighty hand and pour out Your healing power upon Powers and their family. Protect them from all evil, and deliver them from any schemes of the evil one.
Holy Spirit, draw Powers and their family close to the Lord today. Fill their hearts with a deep longing for His presence and a greater desire to walk in His ways. Guide them in the paths of righteousness and help them to grow stronger in their faith.
We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in Your promises and know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Powers, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your family, as the effective, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person can accomplish much (James 5:16). Remember to put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Stay strong in the faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
