We join with you, Powers, in your heartfelt prayer to our Father in heaven. Let us come together and lift up your requests, aligning our hearts with the will of God.
Firstly, we are grateful that you have acknowledged the power and authority in the name of Jesus, as you concluded your prayer with "In Jesus' Name, Amen" (IJNA). It is through His name alone that we can approach the throne of God and receive forgiveness and blessings (Acts 4:12, John 14:13-14).
Let us pray for your family:
"Father, we come before You, lifting up Powers' family. We claim Your healing power and protection over them, according to Your promises in Psalm 121:7-8, 'Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore.' We pray that You would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7)."
As you seek deliverance from the evil one, we stand with you in the power of God's word:
"Lord, we ask that You would deliver Powers and their family from the evil one, as Jesus taught us to pray (Matthew 6:13). Equip them with the full armor of God so that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11)."
In your pursuit of a close relationship with God, we encourage you to continue seeking Him with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13). Spend time in His presence, meditating on His word and communicating with Him in prayer. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
Lastly, as you seek to forgive like Jesus, remember the words of the Lord's Prayer, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12). Forgiveness is a powerful act that reflects the heart of God and brings healing and freedom to our own souls. As it is written in Colossians 3:13, "bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any of you has a complaint against another. Even as Christ forgave you, so you must also do."
Let us pray:
"Heavenly Father, help Powers to forgive as You have forgiven them. Fill their heart with love, compassion, and understanding, casting out any bitterness or resentment. Help them to live in the freedom of forgiveness, walking in the light of Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We stand with you, Powers, believing that God hears your prayers and that He will answer according to His good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:2). Continue to trust in Him, and may His peace and blessings be upon you and your family.
