My prayer is for my daughter going into high school this year. She has had a lot of trouble making friends. She is the sweetest person ever, but quiet and reserved. She also has ADHD which she manages okay, despite the extra effort it takes to focus. She also very much lives by her faith... Because of this, people aren't very receptive or accepting of her. She's also a cheerleader (which she loves & I'm hoping builds her confidence), but even the other cheerleaders aren't nice, spare 2 or 3. To put it bluntly, the school is filled with snobs, and the girls are very cliquish. She feels rejected quite a bit & hasn't made a best friend. Will y'all please pray for her? I don't want her to be lonely or feel rejected. I want her to have good memories in high school and build meaningful connections. I pray the Lord will strengthen her and help her establish good friendships with the right people. May the Lord bless her high school years and help her to achieve success in all her classes without feeling so stressed.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply for your daughter. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." We pray that God will heal any emotional pain your daughter feels from rejection and grant her comfort and strength.

We also pray that God will bring genuine friends into her life. Proverbs 18:24 tells us, "A man who has friends must show himself friendly, and there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." We ask God to help your daughter find friends who will accept and support her, and who will be a positive influence in her life.

Regarding her ADHD, we pray that God will grant her continued strength and perseverance to manage it. We also ask for wisdom for her teachers and peers to understand and support her.

We are thankful that your daughter lives by her faith. May she continue to be a light in her school. We pray that God will give her the courage to stand firm in her beliefs, even when others are not receptive. As 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

Lastly, we pray for her academic success. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." We ask God to help your daughter focus and excel in her classes, not for her own glory, but for His.

However, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the key to our salvation and our relationship with God.
