We join you, Powers, in your heartfelt prayer for the new day. Let's stand together in the presence of God, seeking His protection, healing, and guidance for you and your children.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name by using IJNA and praying in His name. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and receive His spiritual blessings in Heaven.
As parents, God's word tells us to protect our children as much as it is within our control, providing for them, giving them Godly wisdom, and bringing them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
"Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." Deuteronomy 11:18-20.
Our prayer for you and your children is in accordance with Jesus' teachings:
"Father, keep them through the power of your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, even as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them through the power of your name that you have given me. I have protected them and none has been lost, except the one doomed to destruction, that Scripture might be fulfilled." John 17:11b-12
This is the power we have against the evil one, the one who would desire to harm you and your family. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. Ephesians 6:12-18.
We ask the Holy Spirit to continue guiding you and your children, drawing you closer to Jesus each day. As you grow in the knowledge and love of Christ, may His peace and blessings follow you and your family through the New day.
We can't guarantee that our lives will be free of trouble, evil, or sickness but God promises to be there with us when we go through trials, to never forsake us and to leave the outcome up to His will. Thank you Father in Heaven for being our Shield, Fortress, and our High Tower in times of trouble.
Lastly, let us consider the Holy Seriptures to make a habit to Praise God, especially with our prayers with Thanksgiving. Be careful for nothin, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Phillipians 4:6. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. I Thessalonians 5:16-18. We cannot expect to be thankful for things that are not in alignment with God's will, this is when our hearts and minds are brought into the transformation process of renewing, so we do not conform to the standards of the world, but rather are constantly being transofrmed into the Image of Jesus. This is only possible because of Gods love for us. That is how you know you are doing right, so there is no reason to believe you would get something that would be undesireable. It is often a painful lesson that we need to remember, so we thank God for the wonderful things and the opportunity to grow and improve and be made into Christ's Image.
