Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear pastor Marius Wong to you. We thank you for his faithful service to you and for his dedication to spreading the Gospel. Lord, we humbly ask that you extend your healing hand upon him as he undergoes chemotherapy treatment for ureter cancer.
Your Word reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up." We claim this promise for Pastor Marius and ask for your divine intervention in his healing process.
Lord, we pray for strength and comfort for Pastor Marius during this challenging time. Surround him with your peace that surpasses all understanding and fill him with your supernatural joy. May he experience your presence and love in a tangible way, knowing that you are with him every step of the way.
We also lift up his medical team, asking for wisdom and guidance as they administer his treatment. Grant them discernment and skill to provide the best care possible. Lord, we pray for a successful outcome and complete healing for Pastor Marius, according to your perfect will.
Lastly, we pray for the congregation of Pastor Marius, that you would unite them in prayer and support. Strengthen their faith and encourage them to stand firm in their belief that you are the God who heals. May they rally around their pastor, offering love, encouragement, and practical assistance during this time.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your sovereignty and believe that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
