Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend ### and their family during this difficult time. We humbly ask for your comfort and peace to surround them as they mourn the passing of their beloved uncle. We pray for the soul of their uncle, that you may grant him eternal rest and bring him into your loving presence.
Lord, we know that you are the God of all comfort and that you are near to the brokenhearted. We ask that you would wrap your arms of love around ###'s family, providing them with strength and solace in their grief. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
In your Word, you promise to be a refuge and strength for those who trust in you. We claim this promise for ###'s family, asking that you would be their refuge in this time of sorrow. Help them to find comfort in your presence and to lean on you for support.
Father, we also pray for any practical needs that may arise during this season of loss. Provide for the family's financial, emotional, and spiritual needs, and surround them with a community of support and love.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that you would use this difficult time to draw ###'s family closer to you. May they seek your face, find hope in your promises, and experience the peace that only you can give. Help them to trust in your sovereignty and to find strength in knowing that their uncle is now in your loving care.
