Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, as we lift up our dear brother ### in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround him during this difficult time of loss. We pray for Your loving presence to be with him and his family as they navigate through the pain and grief of their mother's passing.
Lord, we know that You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You would wrap Your arms of love around ### and his family. Bring them solace in their sorrow and grant them the strength to endure this season of mourning. Help them to find hope and healing in You, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
We also pray for the assurance of eternal life for ###'s mother. May she find rest and peace in Your loving embrace, knowing that she is now in Your presence. We thank You for the promise of resurrection and the hope of being reunited with our loved ones in Your Kingdom.
Lord, we ask that You would provide ### and his family with the support and comfort they need during this time. Surround them with caring friends, family, and members of their community who can offer a helping hand and a listening ear. Give them the strength to lean on one another and to find solace in their shared memories and love for their mother.
As we lift up this prayer request, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We claim this promise for ### and his family, knowing that You are the source of true comfort and peace.

God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother, friend. I lost my mom too recently, and I can certainly understand how painful this time is for you. I’m praying for the Lord to surround you with His comforting presence, uphold you and touch you with His healing hand whenever you hurt. Should you ever need a listening ear, Focus on the Family has pastoral counselors that you can call at 1-800-###-####. A friend of mine found them very caring and encouraging. Also, you may want to check out this link for some helpful resources. Hang in there, friend.
