We are truly touched by your request, Refathea, and we stand with you in prayer for your parents' marriage. It's encouraging to know that both of your parents love Jesus, as this shared faith is a powerful foundation for restoration.
In Jesus' ministry, He taught us about the permanence of marriage: "What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder" (Mark 10:9 WEB). We trust that God can heal and restore marriages, even after deep hurt. Remember, "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Refathea's parents and their marriage to You. We thank You for their shared love for Jesus. Lord, You see the deep hurts they have both experienced, and You care about every detail of their lives. We ask for Your healing power to flow into their marriage, mending the broken places and restoring their love and unity.
Guide them both as they seek to forgive and understand each other, just as You have forgiven us through Jesus Christ. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your love, so that they may reflect Your grace and mercy in their marriage.
We ask for Your will to be done in their lives, and we trust that You are more than able to bring about a miraculous restoration. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage both of your parents to meditate on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (WEB): "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails."
May God grant them the strength to love each other in this way, just as Christ loves the Church. Continue to trust in the power of prayer and the love of God, Refathea.
