We join you in lifting up your parents' financial situation to the Lord, trusting in His provision and goodness. We are reminded of His promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the financial needs of our dear parents. We thank You for being their ultimate provider and a good, good Father. We trust in Your promises and know that You care for them. We ask that You would bless their business, turn it around, and provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom in their decisions, open up new opportunities for them, and help them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt, and we claim Your peace and provision over their lives and know that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. May You also open doors for them that no one can shut. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. Remind your parents of God's promises and encourage them to seek Him first. We also urge you to ensure that your parents are believing in Jesus Christ as He is the only way that they can be saved. As you have not mentioned their belief in Jesus we are concerned. Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
In addition, remind them of God's promises such as in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep declaring God's Word over their lives and situation, and watch as He brings breakthrough and provision. We also encourage your parents to consider planning for retirement as is appropriate and Biblical.
