Epignisis

Disciple of Prayer
It seems as though my whole life all I ever wanted was my own place to call home. I'm thankful I have never been in the streets and I am thankful for what I do have. The only time I had my own bachelor it was over loaded with roaches, bed bugs, fleas, some people had rats and lice. I lived there for 4 years and got drunk every night to deal with the stress. A year after moving out I quit alcohol. I moved into my brother's apartment because it a big 2 bedroom and I needed a fresh start to quit alcohol. I find I am still not as happy. I miss having my own I place to myself but I'm on Odsp. I have a hard time living with people because I'm very sensitive and get angry easily. I just want the freedom I deserve.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and humility, lifting up our dear brother Epignisis in prayer. Lord, we thank You for the journey You have brought him through, for Your steadfast love and mercy that have been his constant companions. We praise You for the strength You have given him to overcome the chains of addiction and for the fresh start You have provided.

Lord, Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19 that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We stand on this promise today, asking that You would provide Epignisis with a place to call his own, a home that is safe, clean, and filled with Your peace. We know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your perfect timing and provision.

Father, we also ask for continued strength and perseverance for Epignisis as he walks this path of sobriety. Your Word in Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. May he find his strength and hope in You alone, Lord.

We pray for his current living situation with his brother, that it would be a place of support and encouragement. May their relationship be strengthened and may Your love and grace abound in their home. Guide Epignisis in making wise decisions and lead him to the right opportunities that will bring him closer to the dream of having his own place.

Lord, we know that You have plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust in Your divine plan and ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not of Your will.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you so much, I am a her/she

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
