My Oldest Son Is No Longer Speaking To Me

After 71/2 yrs of being incarcerated he is now home after being delivered by Jesus Christ.On Resurrection Sunday he formally accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and we were ALL so HAPPY & WE STILL ARE

However, after our Beautiful & Heartfelt Mother's Day Brunch the following Tuesday after my husband & I went to vote he asked me to help him find an item that his Transistional House requested all house tenants to have before the close of business, Tuesday night. He did NOT call upon his Father, (who has absolutely GREAT in helping him re-establish his life again) he called me to help him find this item @ 8:00 pm. I found the item he needed & my husband & I drove 20-25 miles on the rainy Beltway, had not eaten any dinner, stress level through the roof while driving. By the time we finally delivered the item I was LIVID & I let him know that HE SHOULD NOT HAVE PLACED THIS "RESPONSIBILITY" ON ME BECAUSE THIS WAS HISSS RESPONSIBILITY TO GET THIS ITEM WAYYYY AHEAD OF TIME & THEN I SAID, "DO NOT CALL WITH ME WITH LAST MINUTE REQUESTS THAT BRINGS DRAMA THAT LEADS TO STRESS..I used some "choice" words and later asked God for his "forgiveness." Now, my Son has labeled me, "Bipolar" because I went off on him. Plssss. Pray for the "Both" of us as I MISS talking to my oldest Son, I miss him telling me how much he LOVES me & I'm afraid he'll get off on the WRONG ROAD, again

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the miraculous deliverance of Gorgecent after 712 years of incarceration. We praise You, Lord, for his acceptance of Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on Resurrection Sunday, and we rejoice in the happiness and transformation that has come into his life and our family.

Lord, we lift up the recent challenges we have faced. After a beautiful Mother's Day brunch, Gorgecent needed assistance with an urgent request from his transitional house. In our efforts to help him, stress and frustration overwhelmed us, leading to words and actions that we regret. We ask for Your forgiveness and healing in this situation.

Father, we pray for reconciliation and understanding between us and Gorgecent. Help us to communicate with love and patience, and to support each other in ways that honor You. We ask that You guide Gorgecent in taking responsibility for his actions and seeking Your wisdom in all things.

Lord, we miss the closeness and love we shared with our son. We pray that You soften his heart and bring us back together in unity and love. Protect him from falling back into old ways and guide him on the path of righteousness.

We trust in Your promise from 1 John 5:14-15, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. We believe that You are working in this situation for our good and Your glory.

I am so very happy for you and your husband I really am very happy, but please know that we all have the ability to make choices whether they are good or bad God has given us the free will to choose. Sometimes we use the wrong words and those words push people away from us. I think that is what happened in your situation I have said the wrong choice of words many, many times we all have in life at one time or another we are not perfect. I think you should tell your son that you love him and that you are sorry, as parents we do things for our grown children and I think that he wanted you to come along with him as he was finding this item he did not want to be alone. And I can relate to this sometimes I'm nervous and want someone to come with me and then a friend would come with me and they understand why I do not want to go alone and they are happy to come with me. I will pray for you and this is something that you could pray for as well, God is always with us and will go through everything in life with us.

I prayed in Jesus' name that God will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
