Hello, my oldest sister is 19, she has been out of high school for 2 years now (class of 2010). She earned all of her high school credits, attended high school graduation and walked the stage to get her high school diploma, when she opened the diploma cover, there was no high school diploma inside, why? Because she hasn't pass the math portion of the California High School Exit Exam known as the CAHSEE. She passed the english portion on the first try but math was still incomplete. So her second option was going to adult school and complete the CAHSEE prep course and take the test over again (you get two try's.) She completed the course and took the CAHSEE. Weeks later the test results came in, she failed by 8 points I believe (350 or higher to pass). She took the test for the 2nd time and failed again. So now the third option is to retake the course at adult school and try again, but she hasn't made a phone call to enroll, im really getting concerned she is throwing in the towel. She wants to be a fashion designer but now her life is going down the drain because she doesn't have her high school diploma yet. It's not necessary to get a GED because she graduated high school and earned all her credits, all she has to do is get a 350 or higher on the CAHSEE math portion and her high school diploma will be in her hands.
