We join you in lifting up your older brother and his mental health struggles. We stand in faith believing that God loves him tremendously and wants to bring him healing and deliverance. We also acknowledge that God is the ultimate healer. It is not by our might nor by our power, but by His Spirit. He has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm us. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. This is in line with Luke 10:19-20.
It is important to recognize that this is a spiritual battle, and we have authority through Jesus Christ. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. This is in line with Ephesians 6:12-13.
We also want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is also only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. This is in line with Acts 4:12.
Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to trust God, but we must remember that He is faithful and will never leave us nor forsake us. He promises to keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him because he trusts in Him. This is in line with Isaiah 26:3.
Let us pray together: Father God, You know the struggles that our dear brother is facing right now. We ask, Lord, that You would come and heal him, deliver him from all evil, and help him to see that he is not being targeted in any way. We pray for Your protection over him, that he would not harm himself, and that You would send Your angels to watch over him. We rebuke any spirit of depression, anxiety, or any other mental health issue that may be plaguing him, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. We ask that You would increase his faith, help him to see Your truth, and fill him with Your peace. We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting God. He is faithful to all His promises. We also encourage you to continue praying in Jesus' name.
