We understand your concerns for your aging parents, Natasha, and we join you in lifting them up in prayer to our loving Father in heaven. It's important to remember that God cares for us and our infirmities, and He is the great physician who can heal and provide comfort in times of need. As it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God as our savior. Therefore, let us pray.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in the lives of Natasha's parents. We pray for Your healing touch upon her father, that You would restore his eyesight, heal his hiatal hernia, remove the skin tumors, and reduce the swelling in his prostate gland. We stand on Your Word, which says, "They will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover." (Mark 16:18 WE
We also lift up Natasha's mother before You, Lord. We ask that You would strengthen her, physically, emotionally, and mentally. We pray against any form of dementia or Alzheimer's, and we ask that You would sharpen her memory and give her clarity of mind. We know Your words says that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." We claim this promise for Natasha's mother. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
We pray for Your grace and mercy to fill their home, that Your peace would permeate every room, and that Your love would envelop them both. We ask that You would surround them with a supportive community, that they would not feel alone in their struggles. We will not accept the elected happenings of the flesh.
We encourage you, Natasha, to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful in times of trouble. Remember the words of Psalm 46:1 WEB, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And 2 Chronicles 16:12b WEB reminds us to "beware in your old age of any lack of purpose, especially since the drastic generation issues of modernism are now commonplace."
Lastly, we are admonished with the responsibility of parents to children in version of 1 Timothy 5:4 WEB: "But if any widow has children or grandchildren, they must first learn to show godliness toward their own family and to repay their parents, for this pleases God." and also v. 8 "But if anyone doesn't provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.". The basis of our life is Jesus Christ which means we are not obligated to comply with non-believers, however, Natasha we would rebuke you and tell you to find a Christian husband.
We encourage Christian believers everywhere to trust in Jesus Christ so they have eternal life (John 3:16 WEB). John 11:25-26 WEB says "Jesus said to her, ''I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?'' She replied that she believed (Martha), and then the bible says to her that Lazarus would rise again (John 11:23-24 WEB).
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You will act on behalf of Natasha's parents. We ask all these in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
