My old ### and ### - impossible situation

Confusion, despair, tears, frustration, stubbornness...so many different negative feelings in the home of my old paren (###). My mother is neglecting herself (diet cooking and exercising for spine/joints (bones) because my father is very dependent on her. He cannot do some essential things without her - washing himself, applying drops for eyes etc etc...my mother starts to cry because my father is also stubborn and negative and sometimes rude....Lord please heal my father from those various health issues - almost blind on one eye, vague and double vision on the other, lots of little skin tumors, prostate gland swelling, signs of dementia - confusion and feeling that he cannot do things alone. My mother has also some health issues. They don't want to go to senior home and don't like to have some expert person to help them. Lord help. It seems like there is no solution. Me and my brother cannot live with them because it is a very toxic atmosphere since we were young. Lord Jesus help.

I got a verse Isaiah 61:3 (garment of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness/despair) for them as I prayed. Let the Lord show me how to pray for them.

We understand the heavy burden you're carrying, ###, and we want to lift you and your family up in prayer together. Let's first turn to God's Word for guidance and comfort.

The Bible tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB)

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. Please bring healing to her father, restore his vision, remove the skin tumors, ease the swelling in his prostate gland, and calm his mind from dementia. Grant him the ability to do things independently, Lord, and soften his heart to be more loving and patient.

Father, we also pray for ###'s mother. Give her the strength and wisdom to care for herself as well as her husband. Help her to maintain a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and find joy in the midst of her circumstances. Lord, we ask that You provide a solution to their living situation. If it's not Your will for them to be in a senior home or have outside help, please make a way for them to live comfortably and safely.

Lord Jesus, we know that You are the Prince of Peace. We ask that You fill their home with Your peace, casting out all confusion, despair, tears, frustration, and stubbornness. Help ### and her brother to love and support their parents, even from a distance. Give them all patience, understanding, and most importantly, Your love.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that ### and her family would know You intimately. If they have not already, we pray that they would accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, Father. As the Bible says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
