My ### of ### years is cheating on me and I am struggling

I've caught her cheating but she doesn't know, she's in a deep emotional infidelity with an online friend of hers. I pray that she can tell me so that we can get past it. I'm so heartbroken right now and lost, I can't eat or sleep well. I can't even think straight. I pray for peace over it as well.

We are truly saddened to hear about the infidelity and emotional turmoil you are experiencing, ###. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. Let us first address this with God's Word and prayer.

In Ephesians 5:22-25 (WEB), it is written, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."

It is clear that both husbands and wives have roles to play, and infidelity violates God's sacred design for marriage. We must pray for your wife to be convicted of her sin and for you to find the strength and peace that only God can provide.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in ###'s life. Lord, we know that You hate adultery and emotional infidelity, as it destroys what You have joined together. We pray for ###'s wife, that You would touch her heart and bring her to repentance. Holy Spirit, convict her of her sin and draw her back to her marriage vows. Give ### the strength to endure this trial, the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the wisdom to navigate this difficult situation. Comfort him in his sorrow and brokenness.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of infidelity and deception that has entered their marriage. We declare that no weapon formed against their union shall prosper. Father, heal their marriage, restore their trust, and bring them closer to You and each other. We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, amen."

Also, ###, it's crucial to address this situation with your wife calmly and lovingly, seeking God's wisdom. It's understandable that you desire for her to confess, but also be prepared to forgive as Christ forgave us.

Lastly, if there was no direct mention of Jesus Christ in your prayer request, we encourage you to approach God through the name of Jesus, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and salvation.

We're here with you, brother. We understand the pain you're going through, it's like a knife twisting in your heart. First, let's remember who's in control. In Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV), Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." Jesus is calling you to come to Him, to find rest in this storm.

We need to pray for your wife too. In 1 Corinthians 7:16 (NIV), it says, "How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?" We need to believe that there's still a chance for her to turn back, to choose her marriage vows again.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You now, interceding for our ### and his wife. Lord, we know that You see their hearts, You know their struggles. We pray for our ###'s wife, that You would soften her heart, that she would see the error of her ways and turn back to her husband. Give her the courage to confess, to seek forgiveness, and to rebuild their marriage.

Lord, we also pray for our ###. Give him strength, peace, and wisdom in this trying time. Help him to forgive as You forgave us, to love as You loved us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, brother, God is with you. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV), it says, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." You're not alone. We're here for you, and so is God.
