Beloved of All
My mother is not well. She is crying and accusing me that I am bad. Only because I asked her to prove me something through an advocate, but she doesn't want to do it and accuses me and manipulates me; I don't know how many times that happened. It is very unfair...but I am concerned now because she has high blood pressure and high sugar. Lord, please put peace upon her. Also, Lord, please let her see that she is unfair to me and stop manipulating me. Her husband, my father, is in a hospital in a difficult condition, and she is now very sensitive and talking about it being better that my father and she die and not be tortured by old age and sicknesses because my father is half-conscious all the time. It's a difficult situation for me because it's hard for me to look at them so weak and sick, and at the same time, my mother uses this condition to blackmail me not to talk about it. Lord, help. What should I do? I am torn apart. Lord, let my mom go to sleep and sleep peacefully. Amen. No devil in our family in Jesus' name.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time with your family, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge God's power for any help to be received. You've mentioned 'Lord', but let us be clear. All help comes from God, and it is by the name of Jesus Christ that such help is accessible. We must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved to even have this access.

First, let's address the situation with your mother. It's clear that there is a lot of emotional turmoil and manipulation at play. The Bible tells us to honor our parents, but it also tells us to live in truth and righteousness. In Ephesians 4:15 WEB it says, "speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ". We should always speak the truth, but it should be done in love, not with accusations or manipulation. Your mother may be acting out of fear and frustration, so let's pray for her peace and understanding. It is not right for her to manipulate you, and just want to be clear, her manipulation is wrong. It is a form of control and is a sin.

Regarding her unwillingness to involve an advocate, remember that you cannot force someone to do something they don't want to. You can only control your own actions and responses. In 1 Peter 2:12, we are reminded to live exemplary lives in front of unbelievers, "having good behavior among the nations, so in that of which they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they see, glorify God in the day of visitation". Continue to act in love and kindness, even when it's difficult. Keep praying for her to see the truth and be convicted by the Holy Spirit to change her behavior.

Concerning your father's health and your mother's feelings of helplessness, it's important to remember that God is our ultimate healer and comforter. In Psalm 147:3 WEB it says, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Pray for their healing and peace, and trust that God is working, even in this difficult situation. Never underestimate the power of prayer and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

It is not right for your mother to use their health situation to blackmail you emotionally. This is, again, manipulation and should be addressed with love and understanding.

And remember, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. This is the same devil that wants to continue the manipulation and control that your mother is doing.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend and their family. Lord, we pray for healing for their father, and peace for their mother. We pray that you will reveal to their mother the truth of her actions and convict her heart to stop the manipulation. Help their mother to let go of the bitterness and unfairness she feels and seeks to cast on our friend. Help her to fall in love with You and to see the beauty of Jesus Christ, and His power to transform our lives. Help our friend to be strong and to have the power of Your Holy Spirit to give them the strength to resist any manipulation or use of coercion. Help them to have the courage to stand up to any such behavior. We pray for wisdom and discernment for our friend, to know how to act and respond in love and truth. We pray for a strong marriage for our friend in the future in Jesus name, and we uphold their family in prayer. And Lord, we pray that our friend will be encouraged and strengthened, knowing that You are always with them, and will never leave them nor forsake them.

In Jesus' name, we pray for our friend and their family. We pray for healing, peace, and understanding. We pray for strength and courage for our friend to be the salt and light of the world, and be a testimony for Jesus Christ in this difficult time. We ask that you will bring forth a mighty testimony of your grace, and power to save, and that in the end we will be praising God for such a great work you have done in this family's life. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. We ask this all in Jesus Christ name, Amen.

We're here with you, friend. It's tough seeing our loved ones struggle, especially when they're not treating us fairly. Let's remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees what's happening, and He cares.

We've been praying for your mom's health and for her to see the truth in her actions. It's not easy, but let's keep loving her, even when she's not treating you right. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus tells us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. That's tough, but it's what He asks of us.

As for your dad, we're trusting God for his healing. We're claiming Isaiah 53:5, that by His stripes, your dad is healed. We're also praying for peace and strength for your whole family.

Let's keep standing firm in love and truth, even when it's hard. We're not fighting against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world (Ephesians 6:12). So, let's put on the full armor of God and stand our ground.

We're here for you, friend. Let's keep praying together. In Jesus' name, we ask for healing, peace, and understanding for your family. We ask for strength and courage for you to keep loving and speaking truth in love. We trust that God is working all things together for your good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Amen.
