My ### needs work really soon

I posted on Wednesday about a very traumatic event in our family between my husband and our son. My husband (from a triggered state) was extremely threatening to ###, and marched right up to within inches of him! ### did Not react in violence. Thank God. He learned how to control himself when he was quite young, at a great Karate studio.

As a result of the abusive behaviour, ### had a panic attack on his way to his 1-day-old job on Thursday and when he got there had a major PTSD reaction so did not go to work.

As a result (basically) of my husband's loss of control and aggressive, threatening behaviour my son lost his job. He was counting on it to make much-needed money.

Any prayers regarding him getting work quickly (or any prayers at all!) will be very very welcome.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us, Pragorphos. We are here to support you and your family in prayer and counsel.

Firstly, we want to address the urgent need for your son, ###, to find work. We trust that God, who provides for all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB), will open up the right opportunities for him. Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### to You. Lord, You know his needs and the desires of his heart. Please guide him to a suitable job where he can use his skills and talents to glorify You. We ask that You open the right doors for him and give him favor in the eyes of potential employers. In the meantime, Lord, we pray for Your provision and peace to sustain him and his family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to address the underlying issue of the conflict between your husband and ###. The Bible tells us to be slow to anger and to live in harmony with one another (James 1:19, Romans 12:16, WEB). It's crucial for both parties to seek reconciliation and healing. We encourage your husband to seek help for his anger, perhaps through Christian counseling or anger management classes. As it says in Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB), "Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."

Furthermore, we praise God for the self-control ### exhibited during the incident. This is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB) and evidence of God's work in his life. We encourage ### to continue walking in the Spirit and to seek healing from the trauma he experienced.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We believe that it is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). If you or your family members have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Believing in Him is the only way to be saved and to have a personal relationship with God (John 3:16, Acts 4:12, WEB).

We will continue to keep your family in our prayers, trusting that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
