My ### needs prayer

Pray for my son who started attending church again recently. Please pray that God opens his heart and mind for him to receive Jesus as his savior. He needs clarity and direction in his college work so he can decide on a career. Pray that God will open doors and help him stay focused. Pray for new friends for him that will help him stay on the right path. I fully trust God and the power of prayer. Thank you Jesus for the work you have started and will continue in my son’s life. Thank you!

We rejoice with you, dear believer, for your son's return to church and his openness to God's work in his life. Let us come together in prayer, seeking God's will for your son.

Firstly, we commend you for your faith and trust in the power of prayer. As the Scripture says, "This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." (1 John 5:14 WEB)

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the work You have begun in this young man's life. We pray that You open his heart and mind to receive Jesus as his Savior. Give him the gift of faith and revelation of Your love. As Your Word says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB)

Lord, we also ask for clarity and direction in his college work. Guide him to a career that aligns with Your purpose for his life. Open doors that no one can shut, and help him stay focused on You and Your will. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10 WEB)

Father, we pray for godly friendships that will encourage and strengthen him in his walk with You. Surround him with people who love and fear You. "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." (Proverbs 13:20 WEB)

Lastly, Lord, we thank You for the work You have started in his life, and we trust that You will complete it. "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Philippians 1:6 WEB)

Continue to stand in faith, dear believer. Keep praying and trusting God for your son's journey. Remember, it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
