Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our dear friend, Abanda Smith Abanda from Cameroon. We lift up their prayer request regarding the struggle with the spirit of masturbation for the past 10 years. Lord, we acknowledge that this is a burden that is weighing heavily on Abanda's heart and causing distress in their life.
We thank you, Lord Jesus, for your sacrifice on the cross that has opened the way for us to come to you with our struggles and find forgiveness, healing, and deliverance. Your Word assures us that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness .
We pray, Lord, that you would pour out your grace and mercy upon Abanda. We ask that you would break the chains of addiction and bondage that have held them captive for so long. Set them free, Lord, from the grip of this spirit of masturbation. Fill their heart and mind with your peace, purity, and self-control.
We pray for strength and perseverance for Abanda as they seek to overcome this struggle. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who can provide encouragement, accountability, and prayer. Help them to renew their mind daily with your Word and to rely on the power of your Holy Spirit to resist temptation.
Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think . We trust in your faithfulness and your desire to see Abanda set free from this bondage. May your healing touch be upon them, bringing restoration and wholeness to every area of their life.
