Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and hope, lifting up John Perkins and his wife Elizabeth Perkins. Lord, we pray for Elizabeth's visa process, that it may be expedited and completed smoothly. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise and bring this request before You.
Father, we ask that You make a way for Elizabeth to receive her visa sooner than expected, so she will not have to rebook her flight scheduled for July 24, 2024. We trust in Your perfect timing and provision. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." We submit this situation into Your capable hands, knowing that You are in control.
Lord, we pray for peace and comfort for John and Elizabeth during this waiting period. Strengthen their faith and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We believe that Your plans for them are good and filled with hope.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
