Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, he desires to grow in his spiritual life and to live by every word that comes from Your mouth, as it is written in Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."
Father, we ask that You grant ### the wisdom and understanding to study Your Word diligently. Open his heart and mind to receive the truths of Scripture, and let the Holy Spirit guide him into all truth, as promised in John 16:13. Remove any obstacles or distractions that hinder his study, and give him a deep hunger and thirst for Your Word.
Lord, we pray that ### will be rooted and grounded in Your love, and that he will grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Strengthen his faith and help him to apply Your Word in his daily life, so that he may be a living testimony of Your grace and truth.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the work You are doing in ###'s life. We trust in Your promises and believe that You will complete the good work You have begun in him.
