Hi my name is mykesha and I am in need of prayers ive been gambling real bad I need help I'm already an single mother of 2 it's hard enough I pray this urge be lifted off me

Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

And Hebrews 13:5 WEB, Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.

We must always put our trust in God, not in the uncertain outcomes of gambling. We need to need to flee from and do what is right to support our families.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Mykesha and her struggle with gambling. We pray that You would forgive her and break these chains of addiction in her life. Give her the strength and wisdom to resist the urge to gamble and help her to be fully committed to You and her family. Please provide for all her needs and the needs of her children according to Your riches and glory. Give her peace and contentment, knowing that You are always with her and will never forsake her.

We also pray for her children, that You would protect them and provide for them. Help Mykesha to be the mother You have called her to be, guiding her children in the way they should go.

Lord, we know that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but You have come to give us life, and life more abundantly. We rebuke any stronghold or spirit of addiction that may have a grip on Mykesha's life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command it to leave her and her family alone.

Please surround Mykesha and her family with Godly people who will support her and hold her accountable. Help her to seek Godly counsel and wisdom in all areas of her life.

We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Mykesha, we encourage you also to seek help from local support groups for gambling addiction and do not be ashamed. This can provide you with practical tools and a community of people who understand your struggle.

Remember the words of Psalm 34:17 WEB, When the righteous cry for help, Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. And Psalm 55:22 WEB, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.

Also, Mykesha, make sure to always end your prayers with "in Jesus name" because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
