Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister Martha to you. We acknowledge that you are the source of peace and comfort, and we ask that you would calm her anxious heart. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We pray that you would grant Martha your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to cast her cares upon you.
Father, we also lift up Martha's work situation to you. We ask that you would open doors for her to find a new and better job. Your Word assures us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We trust in your divine guidance and provision, and we ask that you would lead Martha to the right job opportunity that aligns with your perfect plan for her life.
Furthermore, we pray for Martha's health. We ask for healing and relief from her allergies. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We believe in your healing power, and we ask that you would touch Martha's body and restore her to full health.
Lastly, we lift up Martha's sleep and her new puppy. We ask for your wisdom and guidance in training the puppy and for peaceful nights of rest for Martha. Your Word assures us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." We pray for restful nights and a sense of hope and renewal for Martha.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
May the Lord bless you, Martha, and may His peace and provision be evident in every area of your life. Trust in His faithfulness and know that He is with you every step of the way.
