I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, You are the Great Physician and the Healer of all our infirmities. We ask for Your divine intervention in ###'s life as he seeks freedom from the addiction to tobacco. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We pray that ### will find strength in You to overcome this addiction.
Lord, just as You have delivered many from the bondage of sin and addiction, we believe that You can do the same for ###. We ask that You remove the desire for tobacco from his heart and replace it with a desire for Your presence and Your Word. In Ezekiel 36:26, You promise to give us a new heart and put a new spirit within us. We claim this promise for ###, asking that You renew his mind and spirit.
Father, surround ### with supportive friends and family who will encourage him in this journey. Let him feel Your love and grace every step of the way. We trust in Your power to save and to heal, and we thank You in advance for the victory that ### will experience through Jesus Christ.
