We understand your desire to prosper, David, but we must first align our hearts with God's will and His principles. God wants us to be content and to rely on Him, not on wealth. As it is written in 1 Timothy 6:9-10 (WEB), "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

It's not wrong to want to provide for your family, but true wealth comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. We notice that you didn't mention His name in your prayer, so we want to remind you that it's only through Jesus that we can approach God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let's pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would help David to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be given to him as well, as promised in Matthew 6:33. Help him to be content in every situation, as it says in Philippians 4:12. We ask for Your blessings upon David and his family, that they may know You more and live according to Your will. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
