We are truly grateful to hear that you, Corey, have turned to God and expressed regret for your past actions. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we find redemption and forgiveness, and we are encouraged that you have acknowledged this in your request. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Firstly, we want to address the issue of domestic violence. This behavior is not acceptable in God's eyes. The Bible teaches us to love one another as Christ loved us (John 13:34, WEB). We must treat others with kindness, respect, and gentleness (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). We rebuke the sin of domestic violence but welcome you with open arms to the path of repentance and restoration.
Let us pray for you, Corey:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Corey. We thank You that he has turned to You and has found regret for his past actions. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness upon his life and for the healing of all whom he has hurt. Guide him by Your Holy Spirit, so that he may walk in Your ways and live a life pleasing to You.
Help Corey to find the strength to rebuild his life, to seek godly relationships, and to find peace and happiness in You. Surround him with Your love, and let him experience the joy of Your salvation. Give him the courage to face the challenges ahead and the wisdom to make decisions that honor You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Corey, as you journey forward, remember the words of Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Trust in God's unfailing love and grace. Seek fellowship with other believers, attend a Bible-believing church, and immerse yourself in God's Word. This will help you grow in faith and live a life that honors God.
May the Lord bless you, keep you, and make His face shine upon you (Numbers 6:24-26, WEB). Stay strong in your faith, and remember that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB).
