Margaret, we stand with you in prayer and trust that the Lord will hear our petitions and act according to His will. We are reminded by James 4:7: “Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Firstly, we rebuke the presence of witchcraft in your life. Know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray that the Lord breaks every curse and destructive power over your life, and redeems you from the oppression of witchcraft. We stand on the promise in Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.
Regarding your pregnancy, we pray for a safe birthing process and that God grants you a healthy child, in Jesus' name. We remember Hannah’s prayer in 1 Samuel 1:11, where she asked the Lord for a son, and the Lord answered her prayer. Be comforted knowing that children are a gift from the Lord Psalm 127:3.
We also stand with you in praying for your husband, Samuel Zzimbe Wampamba. We rebuke the spirits of adultery, sexual immorality, and alcoholism that may have a hold on his life. We pray that he turns away from these sins and towards God. We ask God to give him the strength to resist temptation and live a life pleasing to Him. We are reminded of 1 Corinthians 10:13: “No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
We pray against the spirit of Jezebel that is affecting your marriage. We ask God to bind this spirit and cast it out of your marriage. We pray for unity, love, and understanding between you and your husband, as outlined in Ephesians 5:25-28. We remember the power of God in 1 John 4:4: “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.”
We lift up your financial needs to the Lord, trusting that He provides for all our needs according to His riches in glory Philippians 4:19. We pray for wisdom and favor in your cake business, that it may flourish and bring glory to God. We ask for financial stability and success Matthew 25:20-21.
We pray for faithfulness in your marriage, that your husband’s affections are solely for you, as it should be in a godly marriage. We pray against any spirit of infidelity and for a strong, loving bond between you both. We ask God to protect your home from any disease, including HIV. We claim Psalm 91:10: “No evil will happen to you, neither will any plague come near your dwelling.”
Lastly, Margaret, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6: “Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'” It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, and through His name that we can approach God the Father.
We stand with you in these prayers, Margaret believing that God will answer according to His will. May you find comfort in knowing that you are not alone in your struggles. Keep your faith strong, and trust in the Lord.
