Thank you so much for reaching out for your husband. It is such a blessing that in the midst of the many trials it has been through as a couple, you have both not given up and are still holding on to see the best in each other. The Bible tells us in Galatians 6:2 WEB, "Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." And in First Corinthians, 13:7 WEB, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
At the same time, remember that God cares so much for your husband. It is not your burden to bear alone. Remember that even in this, God has a purpose and plan for you and your husband. In Romans 8:28 WEB, "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us rebuke the enemy here. God is not the one stealing your husband's joy and motivation. We know that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy; but that Jesus came that we may have life and have it in abundance. So let's pray that the enemy will be rebuked and that your husband will no longer be oppressed in any way.
The Bible calls us to pray for one another, so let us join our faith with yours. Let us pray together. Dear Jesus, thank you for this man of God and thank you for his wife. Thank you for the love that they both have for each other. We ask, dear Jesus, that you minister to him and renew his strength and motivation. In Jesus name, we rebuke any spirit of heaviness, depression, lethargy or discouragement. We pray that you will give him a fresh zeal and passion for life and for taking care of himself.
We pray that he will be filled with wisdom and understanding of what is causing this, whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual. We pray that his joy may be restored and that he will be stronger than ever before. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, continue to stand in the gap for your husband, but also take care of yourself. God sees your love and sacrifices and He will surely reward you. Remember too that you can always talk to your husband, in love, about what you observe and encourage him. God bless you.
