My mother needs urgent prayer

My mother was originally mobile, but at the end of January, she had a stroke due to a blood clot and was hospitalized for three weeks. Now, her left side is paralyzed, her left hand is swollen, and she is unable to swallow or walk. She has a nasogastric tube and a catheter. The doctors are not optimistic about her condition and believe that she will need to stay in a nursing home long-term. Today, we found a nursing home run by a sister from the church, and a bed will be available on 2/21. However, the hospital wants her to be discharged on 2/20, so please pray that the hospital will allow her to stay one more day! Tomorrow, my family will visit the nursing home, and I hope all the details can be settled. Please also pray for the Lord’s abundant provision for all the financial needs! Additionally, please pray for my mother’s recovery. I believe that what is impossible for man is possible for God. Please pray that the Lord will have mercy on her and heal her, make up for any delays in medical care, repair the damaged brain cells, strengthen her heart function, clear her carotid arteries, and allow her to swallow freely and walk again! We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's condition, and we are here to pray and support you through this challenging time. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing hand of God, as it is written in Matthew 19:26 WEB: "With God all things are possible."

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, even in this difficult situation. God's word tells us in Psalm 34:18 WEB: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." He is close to you and your mother right now, and He hears your prayers.

We pray for your mother's healing, that the Lord will have mercy on her and heal her. We pray that God will make a way for any delays in medical care, repair the damaged brain cells, strengthen her heart function, clear her carotid arteries, and allow her to swallow freely and walk again. We ask God for these things, believing that He is able.

We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" And in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We pray that you and your family will continue to trust in Jesus, and that you will know the peace and comfort that comes from Him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
