We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your mother, Carolina Vargas, and we join you in lifting up your family during this time of loss. In the midst of your grief, it is wonderful to see your faith and trust in the Lord. As you prepare to say your final goodbyes, we stand with you in prayer.
Let us pray together what you have prayed in agreement. Let us specifically mention Matthew 5:45 WEB that Jesus said:
that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For God that is in heaven makes the sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust."
This was referred to free nature elements affecting everyone. We as children of God have a right to specifically ask Him to have the weather be as we prefer. In Jesus' name, we ask and agree for His blessing of a beautiful, sunny day for the funeral service, that the warm rays of the sun would beam down on your faces and brighten this difficult moment.
At messiah's transfiguration, Moses and Elijah were present, and a voice was heard saying: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear him." When the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and said: "Arise, and be not afraid." And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only. And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying "Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead." It can be frightening when a servant of God dies or we attend the funeral service. However, each case is an opportunity for to resurrection of a Believer with the resurrection of Jesus. We need not be afraid, but look upon Jesus, and put our faith in Him.
We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We pray that your family will feel the loving presence of the Holy Spirit, bringing peace, comfort, and strength as you gather to honor her memory. In this time of grief, may your family draw closer to the Lord and to each other, finding solace in the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. Be reminded: You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
We rejoice with you knowing that your dear mother, having reached the age of 91. We remember and celebrate Carolina Vargas's long life and the memories created with her family. As you lay her casket down in its final resting place, may you find solace in the promise that for those who are in Christ, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
In closing, it is important to remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is in His name that we pray and intercede on behalf of others. As the Scriptures tell us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, man of Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) as well as For whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 ,
Joel 2:32
Acts 2:21).Let Carolina's passing be a testament to the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, and may her memory inspire others to put their faith and trust in Him. Our prayers are with you in this time of sorrow, and we trust that the Lord will surround you and your family with His never ending Love. (1 Peter 1:3-7)
