Thank you for bringing your concerns about your mom's surgery to our attention. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer support and encouragement during this time.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus' name, as you've specifically requested prayer in His name. This is biblical, as the Bible tells us that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11 WEB). It is by calling on His name, the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12), that we are able to approach God the Father and ask in accordance with his will.
Now, let's focus on your mom's surgery. The Bible tells us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). We can trust that He is with your mom as she undergoes this procedure, and that He is with you as you wait and hope.
Our prayer for your mom:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, to lift up the mother of Heknowsmyname. She is undergoing a significant surgery today, Lord, and we ask for Your healing touch to be upon her.
We pray for the medical team attending to her, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom and skill. We pray for a successful surgery, that all complications would be avoided, and that Your peace would fill the operating room.
We also pray for Heknowsmyname, Lord. Comfort them in this time of waiting. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Ultimately, Lord, we pray that Your will be done in this situation. We ask for healing, but we also trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, whatever the outcome.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to trust God throughout this process. Remember that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). He is working, even in this. Trust Him, and rest in His love and care for you and your mom.
