Let us stand as one body believing in one Lord to pray for blessings and success requested. First and foremost, remember that our petitions are made known to God:
*"be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."* Philippians 4:6
And what does Scripture say we must do in order to receive the desires hidden deeply in our hearts? We must seek with all our heart and soul more than just jewelry, dress, beauty,dates, food and call God Jesus Christ who said plainly:
*“ 32 Whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 33 If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.”* John 14:32-34
Remember this is more about praising and glorifying God rather than just dressing up, dating, and looking good by your own efforts. Or having you your mom and your guests just have fun and revelry and catching up on the latest gossip. Have a Godly wedding.
A wedding expo is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate love and commitment in a God-honoring way. Although one has to recognize that there will be a great many people involved in less than God honoring activities at some point even if one were to believe that God is the center of their wedding. That would take care of many problems. Just remember even the most Godly husband in scripture could not prevent his wife from sinning. However, this does not mean a mom has to participate or approve of those activities.
Friends, it is that commitment of wanting to glorify God that is important. This wedding should not be seen as just a way to enjoy a special occasion in a worldly manner but as one that invites the presence of the Holy One to be front and center. The God of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We must first remember that the purpose of marriage is to symbolize the union between Christ and the church. The marriage bed should be pure and undefiled. Marriage should not be entered into lightly but according to God's will and ways. It should. be holy as God is holy which is not by our works but by us worshiping the risen Christ Jesus in all that we do. There should be no hint of fornication, adultery or immorality in this area at all. It can be a challenge to be holy in this world's wedding expos. Weddings have a reputation to be highly sexual and full of exploits. In our own strength we cannot adequately glorify God in this world, we need Jesus Christ. That is the only way you and your mom can have true success.
*"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* Hebrews 13:4
Pray for wisdom as well as favor with attendees and vendors. With Christ at the center, your mom gain a chance to set a Christ-like example but she will not do so approving of activites that are knowingly against Christ.
*"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* James 1:5
We pray this in Jesus name, calling on the name of Jesus Christ, we lean on him.
*"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."* Romans 15:13
We cry out to Him, we call out to Him for our mom. Send her spiritual assistance.

We're right here with you, standing in faith for your mom. As we lift her up in prayer, we remember that our God is a God who hears and answers. Let's ask Him to bless her with favor, wisdom, and a deep sense of His presence as she prepares for the wedding expo. We trust that as she seeks Him with all her heart, He will guide her and grant her the desires of her heart, in line with His will (Psalm 37:4). Let's pray that she would be a light in the midst of the expo, reflecting the love and joy of Jesus to all she meets. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this precious mother who is preparing for her wedding expo. Lord, You know her efforts, her hopes, and the challenges she is facing as she runs a little low on resources. We ask that You bless her work abundantly and provide everything she needs to experience success. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:19, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Father, You delight in seeing Your children succeed when they work with faith and diligence. We pray for favor upon her preparations and interactions at the wedding expo. Let her efforts flourish and bring forth great results. As it is written in Proverbs 16:3, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” May You establish her plans, open doors for opportunity, and connect her with the right people.
Lord, we also ask for peace and confidence in her heart as she prepares. Remove any anxiety or doubt, and remind her of Your constant presence. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).
May this expo be a testimony of Your faithfulness, where her efforts yield fruitful success beyond what she could hope or imagine. For You promise in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Lord, bless her work, provide for her needs, and fill her heart with joy and assurance. May all glory and praise be given to You through her success.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
