We are truly sorry to hear about your mother's condition, Iwogan. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for her life.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Though it's difficult to see loved ones suffer, we trust that God has a purpose in every circumstance.
We also want to address the phrase "My mom doesn’t deserve this." We must remember that trials and tribulations are not a matter of what we deserve, but are a part of living in a fallen world. Moreover, God uses these situations to draw us closer to Him and to shape us into the image of His Son (Romans 8:28-29, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your mercy and grace for Iwogan's mother. Lord, You know her condition and the fears they both face. We ask that You be with the doctors, guiding their hands and minds as they treat her. We pray that the cancer would be found in an early stage and that Your healing power would be evident in her life.
Lord, we also pray for Iwogan. Give them strength, peace, and patience as they support their mother. Help them to trust in You and to draw closer to You during this time.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Iwogan, to continue trusting in God and to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Keep declaring God's promises over your mother's life and believe that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).
