My mom has been sick and on a chest X-Ray we found out last night it's likely to be lung cancer. She is going in for a CT this afternoon to learn more. It's in the upper right quadrant and hoping she can get treatment to relieve her cough. She is 77 years old. We are all so scared and worried and she is terrified! Please pray for all of us but especially my mom who I am SO close to!

We are deeply saddened to hear about your mother's health condition and the distress it is causing your family. In times like these, it is essential to turn to God for comfort, strength, and healing. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your mother and your family.

Firstly, let us address the fear and worry that have gripped your hearts. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let us pray that God's peace will fill your hearts and minds as you trust in Him.

Now, let us lift up your mother in prayer, asking God for her healing and comfort. We pray, dear Father, that You would touch her body and heal her from this sickness. We ask for Your divine intervention in the upcoming CT scan and all subsequent treatments. We claim Your promises in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), which says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

We also pray for the doctors and medical professionals involved in your mother's care, that God would grant them wisdom and skill to administer the best possible treatment. We ask for this in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes that we are healed (John 14:13, 1 Peter 2:24).

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to trust in God, even in this difficult time. Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:1 (WEB), "Donโ€™t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me." Keep your faith in Him, and He will see you through this trial.

We will continue to pray for your mother and your family, that God's will may be done, and that His peace and comfort may be with you all. Amen.

I just prayed for your request! Remember the Lord hears, considers, and answers the prayers of the righteous (The Christian) according to his will as it says in Scripture! (Psalm 34:17) (1 John 5:14)

As a Christian, walk in the Spirit and the Lord's ways by avoiding sin, that your prayers be not hindered. (Galatians 5:16-26)

Pray for your request without stopping as the Scripture commands. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Remember also the Holy Spirit intercedes for you when you are among the followers of the Lord (a Christian), and He (the Spirit) expresses the groanings in you which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26)

The Lord answer your prayer according to his grace, mercy, and will!

Amen! So be it!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
