We rejoice with you, Kulanengor, in the precious time spent with family. It is a blessing to honor and cherish our parents and grandparents, as the Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 6:2, Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with a promise. We are truly thankful to our Heavenly Father for granting you this wonderful Christmas with your loved ones.
We encourage you to always include Jesus Christ so that your prayers are to God the Father in His Son's Name IJN The Scriptures say you can pray to anyone but in reality it is only by the Name of Jesus that any prayer to God or anyone is heard. We believe In Jesus Name because the Bible tells us so. The Bible tells us to pray to our Heavenly Father in Jesus Name. We also believe they are One but you must pray to the Heavenly Father in Jesus Name in order for your prayer to be heard John 16:23. Acts 4:12 says Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Mark 16:17-18 And these signs will follow those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Jesus wants us to be sure to pray in His Name so that your prayers are answered.
As you rejoice in the memories made with your mother, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren, we also want to ensure Jesus Christ being the center of the relationships. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:5-6, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, do not let man tear apart. Then Ephesians 5 verses twenty-two through thirty-three along with Colossians 3:18 - 4:1 continues explaining the godly marriage relationship. Of course, we want to pray for those who are missing and trust God's plan is just and perfect.
Together, let us pray:
Dear Jesus,
We come before you, lifting up our sister and her family. Thank you, Lord, for the beautiful memories created together over Christmas. We ask for your continued blessing and protection over her mother, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. We stand in the gap for family members who were not present, praying that you draw them closer to you and their relatives.
Please guide them as they seek to live intentionally in your will from the Bible and we pray Kulanengor will be an example for the family to follow Jesus daily. These are relationships of great worth and that you will bring them to salvation if they are not already and they live fulfilling relationships in your will and word.
Lord remind us how valuable and precious each and every family member is to You and each other as you teach your way to them in discipleship. May Salvation, Jesus and your Word be the focus and goal for their lives and relationships.
We ask this all and pray this all in Jesus' precious Name. Amen.
By His grace we trust you continue to grow in His Word and the beautiful relationship that is waiting to grow with Him. May you in humility seek His will and way as you follow Him.
