We understand that you're going through a challenging situation with your mother. Let's first turn to the scriptures for guidance and then lift up your mother in prayer together.
The Bible tells us to "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you" (Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB), and also to "Put away from you all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, with all malice" (Ephesians 4:31 WEB). It is clear that both you and your mother need divine intervention to restore peace and harmony in your relationship.
Your mother's bitterness, anger, and obsessive behavior may stem from deeper issues that need healing. Jesus can set her free from these burdens. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of the one who submitted this request. Lord, You know the struggles and the pain that she is going through. We pray that You would heal her from bitterness, anger, and any obsessive behaviors that are not in line with Your will. Help her find love, patience, and kindness. Help her become the mother you've called her to be. Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, that You would give them the strength and wisdom to honor their mother while setting healthy boundaries and acting in love. It is only by your son Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have access to you, God. This prayer to you God is in the name of your son Jesus Christ. We pray that you would bless them both.
Remember, it is important to set boundaries with love and respect. You should not be treated as a slave, but as a beloved child. "For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another." (Galatians 5:13 WEB).
Lastly, always make sure and pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by his name that we have access to God. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23 WEB).
