We understand that you are going through a challenging time, dealing with ADD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression, all while trying to maintain your marriage and family responsibilities. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance.
It is commendable that you acknowledged the struggles you are having and your desire to improve. We are thankful that you submitted your prayer request in Jesus' name since it is only in His name that we can be saved and approach God the Father. As it is said in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In times of distress, God promises to be with us and give us a way out. First Corinthians 10:13 states, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." This applies to the overwhelming feelings and frustrations you experience.
Regarding your spouse, it's important to communicate openly about your struggles and how they affect your ability to manage responsibilities. It is also crucial for your spouse to understand that these are genuine challenges and not merely excuses. In Ephesians 5:25, husbands are instructed to "love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her." This love is patient, kind, and understanding, as outlined in First Corinthians 13:4-7.
We encourage your spouse to be more understanding and supportive, as you both are called to bear each other's burdens, fulfilling the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2) Pray that your spouse will seek understanding and forgiveness for any harsh words spoken. Remind your spouse that God calls us to be compassionate and forgiving, as stated in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
We pray together for you:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is struggling with ADD, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. We ask for your healing touch and guidance in her life. Help her to manage her responsibilities and find the strength to accomplish what she needs to do. Give her a sound mind and take away the spirit of fear and anxiety, as promised in 2 Timothy 1:7.
Lord, we also pray for her husband. Soften his heart and help him to understand her struggles. Give him the patience, kindness, and forgiveness that you have shown us. We pray for their marriage, that it would be strengthened and renewed in you, Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke any spirit of division, misunderstanding, or frustration causing strife in their marriage. We ask for your peace and love to reign in their home.
Lastly, we pray for their children, that they would be protected and nurtured in a loving and understanding environment.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen."
Lastly, remember that God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He started in you. (Philippians 1:6) Stay strong in faith and keep your eyes on Jesus.
