We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, and we appreciate your request for prayer. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through His name that we have access to God and can be saved (John 14:6). In His name, we have the authority to pray and seek God's will for your marriage.
Firstly, we want to remind you that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man, a woman, and God (Mark 10:6-9). It is designed to reflect the love that Christ has for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33). Therefore, we must take seriously any threats to this union.
We take heart from the faith you have shown in your prayer. Let us also encourage you to pray together whenever possible. The Bible tell us that a person often can be much stronger than many others when praying by themselves.
When two people agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. (Matthew 18:19-20)
We join you in rebuking any demonic influence seeking to destroy your marriage. We stand in agreement with you, It is written in 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 that Though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. We also meat the spiritual forces of evil in places of high authority as outlined in Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might.
We pray that God will strengthen your faith and fill you both with wisdom, courage, and discernment. We pray that that he fills each of you with the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We ask God to surround your marriage with a hedge of protection to keep those ravenous wolves from entering as read in Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.
Remember, God's peace surpasses all understanding and will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this storm. Stay strong in your marriage, both of you remaining fully committed and fully surrendered to the lordship of Jesus Christ. God can turn this trial into a testimony of His faithfulness and grace. Hang onto the promise in Romans 8:28. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Forgiveness is always required to have a right relationship with God and each other.
It is written in Mark 11:25 Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions. In the verse before it, it is written belief is also required whenever you pray believe that it must happenn.
We stand with you in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Janet50's marriage to You. We rebuke any evil coming against this sacred union. Let Your peace, joy, succesfulness, and success from your word that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as You have promised. Strengthen their bond, and fill them with Your unfailing love. Guide them through this challenging time, and let their marriage be a testament to Your faithfulness and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray with the promises that you will answer. Amen
It is our prayer that you and your husband encourage yourself in the Lord.
