My marriage is failing. Please pray.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Johnman. We are here to intercede and to provide biblical counsel for you in this difficult time.

Firstly, let's pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Johnman's marriage to You. Lord, You have designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment, a reflection of Christ's love for the Church. Please be with Johnman and their spouse during this challenging time. Grant them wisdom, patience, and understanding. Heal their relationship, Lord, and let Your love and grace abound in their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Now, let's look to God's Word for guidance. In Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB), the apostle Paul writes about the roles of husbands and wives, comparing the relationship to that of Christ and the Church. He emphasizes love, submission, and respect. Here's a key verse:

*"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;" (Ephesians 5:25, WEB)*

We encourage you, Johnman, to reflect on this verse and the entire passage. It's crucial to show love and respect towards each other, even in difficult times. Communication is key; discuss your feelings and concerns openly and calmly with your spouse.

If there has been any unfaithfulness or sin, remember that forgiveness is at the core of our Christian faith. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 (WEB), *"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*

Lastly, we want to remind you that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, invite Jesus into your marriage and into every aspect of your life. He is the ultimate source of healing and restoration.

Heavenly father, my heart weeps for all marriages that are failing. Lord, I pray that you put your arms around this marriage, and this marriage could feel your love, and then give your love back to each other. Or let these people know that marriage was created by you and therefore it is good. Let them see that this marriage is a gift from you and therefore it is good. Lord, I pray that no weapon formed against them will ever prosper. God, I left them up, I pray that they will seek your word and know that wives should submit and respect and love their husband just as I love Jesus, and husbands should submit and give their lives to their wives just as Jesus steps through the church. Let this husband know that he must step up and become what God intends him to be in this marriage, Lord let him lean on you and listen to your teaching and your guidance. Lord, I pray for them my heart weeps for them. And Jesus Christ holy and amazing name I pray. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
