We are truly grateful to join you in prayer for your daughter's journey through rehab, and we appreciate your faith in the Lord's plan for her life. We remember that God promises in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares Yahweh, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope". This is a favorite verse for many and encourages us that God does have a plan for your daughter.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her daughter to You and giving thanks for their faith. Lord, You tell us in (James 5:15) that the "prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.".
Father, we ask that Your healing power and guidance be upon her daughter as she goes through rehab. Give her the strength and determination to overcome her challenges, and help her to draw closer to You during this time. Lord, we know that You are the ultimate healer and help us to pursue righteousness in all of life's ordeals.
We also pray for your comfort and peace upon the mother. Help her to trust in You completely, and give her the strength to support her daughter through this journey. Lord, we are reminded of when you said in (Matthew 11:28-30) "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light". We pray that she would have the mind of Christ and learn from his burden and take courage. We also offer this prayer of Paul in (Phil 1:9-11) "And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God". And in closing we pray for the hope that we have in Christ as in (Rom 5:4-5), "and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us".
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear sister, knowing that God is faithful and that He cares for you and your daughter. Continue to trust in Him and His promises, and remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ alone. We are reminded of this in (Acts 4:10-13) "so let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him does this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus".
Please keep us updated on your daughter's progress, and know that we are here to support and pray for you both.
