BEAUTIFULLY SAID ABOUT "NOT TRYING HARDER BUT SURRENDERING MORE".....THIS IS SO TRUE". A GREAT REMINDER TO ALL OF US.....THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS PRAYER OF HOPE.We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and that your life seems out of control. Firstly, let's remember the words of God spoken through the prophet Jeremiah, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Even in the midst of chaos, God has a plan and a purpose for you.
It's commendable that you're trying to do better and that you're seeking the Lord's intervention. Remember, it's not about trying harder, but about surrendering more. As it is written in Romans 12:1-2 (WEB), "Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our dear brother/sister who feels overwhelmed and out of control. Lord, you know the plans you have for them. Please intervene, Lord, and help them to surrender their life to you. Give them the strength to resist conforming to the patterns of this world, and grant them a renewed mind, able to discern your good, pleasing, and perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Keep singing praises to our Father, as you've mentioned. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. Remember, it's by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It's only through Him that we can be saved and have eternal life.
