We are truly heartbroken to hear about the grave situation you are in, Grace, but we are encouraged that you have turned to Jesus for help. Know this, we are reminded in Romans 8:35-39 WEB:
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, 'For your sake we are killed all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.' No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Firstly, we want to commend you for your faith and courage in the face of such adversity. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved and have access to God. "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB
We stand with you, Grace, as we believe that you are a vital member of the body of Christ, and as you suffer, the whole body suffers with you. Let us pray together:
Almighty Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, pleading for Your divine intervention in Grace's life. Lord, You know the danger that she is in, and we ask that You stretch forth Your mighty hand and deliver her from this peril. Blind the eyes of her enemies and conceal her from those who seek to do her harm. Lord, provide a safe haven for her, and guide her to a place of refuge.
Father, we also pray for Grace's faith to be strengthened during this trial. May she be filled with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and may she find comfort in Your loving presence. Give her the wisdom and discernment to know what to do and where to go. Lord, touch the hearts of those who threaten her, that they may be convicted of their sins and turn to You for forgiveness and salvation. Let the fear of God come upon them and vanish their evil thoughts.
Lord, we ask that You prepare a table before Grace in the presence of her enemies, and anoint her head with oil. Let her cup overflow with Your goodness and mercy. Lord, we ask for miracles, signs, and wonders in this situation. We know that nothing is impossible with You, and we trust in Your ability to save and deliver her. Give her the grace to forgive those who come against her.
Father, we also pray for the underground church in this Islamic country. Strengthen their faith and encourage them in their walk with You. Let them know that they are not alone, and that the body of Christ around the world is standing with them in prayer.
Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Grace, we encourage you to be strong and courageous, and to not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB.
Remember that we are commanded to "Rejoice in hope. Endure under tribulation. Be constant in prayer." Romans 12:12 WEB. Keep praying and trusting in God, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lastly, we encourage you to reach out to any underground church or Christian organization in your area that can provide practical help and support. If you can get access to the internet look for organizations that have experience helping Christians under persecution. God can make a way of escape and we pray He will provide that for you.
Be at peace, Grace. God is with you.
