We join you, Anonymous, in lifting up your life to Jesus, acknowledging that your life is hidden in Him. It is beautiful to see your heart's desire to worship Jesus in spirit and truth, and to love others as He does. As you've reminded us, the battle is not yours, but the Lord's. Let us pray together and seek God's will for your family and the challenges you're facing.
Let us pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her family. We thank You for her heart's desire to worship You and love others as You do. We ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit over her home, filling their hearts with Your assurance, love, comfort, peace, and strength.
Lord, as she goes through her week, we ask that You guide her steps and help her navigate through the challenges she faces. We ask that You make this week and this Christmas a special time for her and her family, a time where Your light shines brightly in their hearts and lives.
We also ask, Lord, that You reveal more of Yourself to her. As she walks on this earth, we ask that You show her all she needs to know, that she may grow in her relationship with You.
Lord, we also pray for her husband, son, and daughter. We ask that You protect them, guide them, and draw them closer to You. We ask that You help them to love and support each other, and that Your will be done in their lives.
We pray all this in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
Anonymous, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, and to seek His will in all things. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
We also encourage you to continue to love and serve your family, remembering the words of Colossians 3:18-21 WEB, "Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, so that they won't be discouraged."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to seek God's will in all things, remembering that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
