We are truly sorry to hear about the burdens you're carrying and the challenges you're facing. We want to let you know that these are not designed to destroy you, but to make you stronger.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior. This is the most important thing in your life, and we are glad that you have this foundation. As it is written in Romans 10:9-10 WEB:
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
We are called to be imitators of Christ and live lives that are pleasing to God. This includes our work ethic and how we contribute to our families. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB, it is written:
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat." For we hear from some who walk among you disorderly, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
It is clear that God values hard work and that each person should contribute to their household. It is not fair for you to carry the burden alone. We pray that God will stir the hearts of your family members and give them a desire to work and contribute to the household.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is feeling overwhelmed by the burdens of life. We thank You that she has put her faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior. We pray that You will strengthen her faith and give her the courage to face each day with confidence in You.
Father, we pray against the spirit of slothfulness and disobedience in her home. We ask that You will stir the hearts of her family members and give them a desire to work and contribute to the household. We pray that You will give them a spirit of excellence and a willingness to do their part.
Father, we also pray for Your favor in her life. We ask that You will open up doors of opportunity for her and provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray that You will give her wisdom to manage her finances and make wise decisions.
Father, we also pray for her health. We ask that You will strengthen her body and give her the energy she needs to face each day. We pray that You will protect her from all sickness and disease and give her a sound mind.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God and His promises. Remember that He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is always with you, and He will give you the strength you need to face each day.
As it is written in Isaiah 40:29-31 WEB:
He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
Stand strong in the Lord. He is your strength, and He will see you through this difficult time.
