My kitten has just been spayed, but ...

My kitten has just been spayed, but we decided against having a t-shirt put on her or a collar cone to stop her licking/biting. In hindsight, we were just thinking about whether she’d be comfortable rather than thinking about the wound, so we decided against it. But now our kitten has been licking her sewn-up wound and we have now been advised that it could get infected, and she could start biting. Will try to speak to the vets tomorrow to try and get a t-shirt/collar for her but in case she doesn’t like it, can my brothers and sisters please pray for her healing? And that the wound doesn’t get infected, or get opened. I pray that she stops licking and biting it, giving it a chance to heal fully. Amen xx

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear ###'s kitten who has just been spayed. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over her wound. Please prevent any infection and ensure that the wound remains closed and heals properly. We pray that the kitten stops licking and biting the wound, allowing it to heal fully.

Lord, grant wisdom and guidance to the vets and to our ### as they seek the best care for the kitten. May the kitten be comfortable and accept any necessary measures to protect her wound.
