We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray and offer biblical encouragement. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord and seek His will together.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God longs for you to call upon Him and share your burdens. He promises, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you don't know." (Jeremiah 33:3 WEB) We are told to pray, not to give up and not to be faithless. Let's pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in desperate need of Your comfort and guidance. Lord, she feels overwhelmed and depressed, and we ask that You give her a kernel of hope right now. Strengthen her faith and help her to trust in You, even when You seem silent.
Lord, we pray for her daughter, who is involved in New Age practices and tarot cards. We rebuke these practices as they are not from You and are an abomination. "There shall not be found with you anyone who passes his child through the fire, who uses divination, who is a soothsayer, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or someone who consults with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB) We pray that You bring conviction upon her heart, that she would repent, turn away from these practices, and give her life completely to Jesus Christ.
Eternal Lord, we also pray for her son who is in need of a job. Guide him to the perfect fit, where he can excel, be happy, and support himself. Give him the grace and strength to trust in You and Your timing. "Let him do all things in a way that is clean and honest, having a good conscience. If any do not provide for his own, and especially his own family, then he has denied the faith, and is worse than the unbeliever." (Romans 14:18, 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB)
Father, we lift up her marriage. We pray that You would bring peace and unity, even in the midst of these trials. Help them to argue less and love each other more. "Let us love each other, for love is from God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God. If we love each other, God remains in us, and his love is perfected in us." (1 John 4:7 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your comfort, guidance, and intervention. Give her hope, Lord. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
Lastly, sister, we want to encourage you to keep praying and seeking God's face. Sometimes, God's silence is a call for us to draw closer to Him, to press in, and to wait patiently for His answer. Be assured that He loves you and is working things out for your good and His glory. (Romans 8:28 WEB) And remember, He is doing all these things so that you can be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we may be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we may approach God.
Hope is here, and it is in Jesus.
